Year 4 Weekly Update – 14/05/21

Dear Parents,

Please find the learning for next week below:

We will use figurative language to write poems about the Battle of Hastings.

Subtracting fractions and finding fractions of amounts

We will learn about Paul and Silas.

We will be learning about the Domesday book and evaluating why we think it was written and what the effects of it were.

We will be carrying out some work as a follow up to this week’s mental health week with the theme of nature.

We will move on to Session 2: Chatting online. We will watch the video and then discuss this, focussing on the fact that people can pretend to be anyone online and how we can stay safe from this- not sharing personal details, only talking to people we know, always telling an adult if we are ever a little bit unsure.
