This week the children have particularly enjoyed learning about animal life cycles in Science, engaging with Frances Hodgson-Burnett’s novel ‘The Secret Garden’ and learning where in the UK food comes from in Geography.

- Continuing to explore own and others’ feelings in PSHE/RHE

Book challenge
Just a little reminder that the book challenge is still running and has been since October.
Congratulations to all the children who have received certificates for all their reading during lockdown. Children keep a track of the books that they have read at home on a tracking grid in the classroom. When they reach 20 books, they receive the bronze certificate.
When they reach 30 books, they receive the silver certificate.
When they reach 40 books, they receive the gold certificate.
If you would like more information on this or how your child is doing with the challenge, please contact the office FAO Miss Coy.
Fire talks
The children will be participating in fire safety talks. This is a great opportunity for the children to learn more about how to prevent, detect and escape domestic fires.
Take care and enjoy your weekends.
