Spellings

Times tables

Continue to focus on the 12 times tables.

Maths

We will be working on length- starting with equivalent lengths and adding and subtracting lengths.

Literacy

We will moving on to a unit of poetry, based on the first scene in Act 1 of Macbeth. Children will learn the full story as part of this piece of learning.

RE

Following on from the Annunciation, we will learn how Joseph trusted in God.

Science

We will be using practical enquiries to investigate whether gases weigh anything.

History

We will look more closely at medieval medicine.

RHEWe will move on to unit 3, session 1: What am I feeling? Children will learn to examine their feelings, to try to understand them and what causes them.

Music

We will be learning to identify features of music such as key and texture to describe the structure and use graphic scores to represent.

Computing

We will be exploring how to create an algorithmic set of instructions for an offline activity.
