Times tables

We would like everyone to practise the 3x tables this week from 1 -12.  We will be consistently testing the 2’s, 5’s and 10’s each week.

The Week Ahead

Literacy/Topic

In our Romans topic, we will learn about the invasion of Britannia and Boudicca’s revolt.  The children will be writing a recount of this revolt and using time adverbials to link ideas within and across sentences.

Maths

We will be working on find which multiples of 10 and 100 a given number lies between on a number line and using this to explore rounding to the nearest 10 and 100.

RE

After having explored how the Bible is structured and retrieving verses of scripture, next week we will look at how God communicates with use through the lives of Abraham and Sarah.

RHE

We will be looking at the story sessions from ‘Designed for a Purpose’ through Kester’s Adventure in TenTen.

Art/Design

We are going to be looking and appraising different designs of Roman Mosaics including the notable examples from Roman Britain in Verulamium.

Music

We will be looking at how to read from music notation.
