Thank you to Mrs Whyatt and Class 3W for leading the Prayer Service this week. They reminded us that lots of people like to give something up during Lent to remind themselves of Jesus’s time in the desert with no food and no water. They asked this key question- Wouldn’t it be good if Lent helped you carry on doing something positive for the rest of the year?
They sang a beautiful hymn called ‘When I think about the cross’. The children read with such confidence and left us with a very important message– Lent is a very important period in the Church’s year and we can all make a difference.
It was wonderful to see so many parents and family members attend. Our special gathering.
