Climate Learning Week

For Climate Learning Week, the children participated in a range of activities across the school.

Reception talked about warming weather and how it affects the polar regions. They watched the ice melt in their model outside and measured the water. They predicted that the rising water would cover the stones and land will disappear.

In Year 2, they made posters including some top tips on how to help prevent further climate change.

In Year 3, they created spider diagrams, describing ways people  damage the environment and ways we can help the environment.

Year 4 participated in a Climate Trial, each group had to research a cause of climate change and create an argument either for or against it. The whole class then came together to put these causes on trial using the evidence they had collected.

The children agree they now feel empowered to help make change!
