Judaism Workshop
On Monday, the Y6 children enjoyed learning and participating in a Judaism workshop. They discussed the story of Passover which linked well to our current RE topic ‘Jesus the bread of life’. The children loved eating matzah and drinking traditional Jewish grape juice. They had to sort out which foods would fit on the Seder plate and had the opportunity to see what their name would look like written in Hebrew from the Torah. Finally, the children really enjoyed remembering the ten plagues and they used traditional Jewish books to learn more about each of them.
