Following on from our History learning where the children learnt about Anderson shelters, the classes had the opportunity to collaboratively make their own paper model diorama. The children designed and drew the model earlier in the week and considered what materials each part of the shelter would be made from. We discussed why these materials were chosen and why they would be the most effective materials to use. They worked extremely well in groups using a growth mindset and demonstrated great perseverance and teamwork.
