We were delighted to see such a wonderful collection of ‘Books in boxes’ throughout the school on Monday. Books were celebrated in classrooms right from Nursery up to Year 6. Some of the children (and parents!) had clearly spent a long time creating imaginative scenes or landscapes from the stories that they had read. Other children celebrated by selecting a few objects to place inside their boxes to represent their books. All the boxes were wonderful, and the children were able to talk so passionately about the books that they had read. The staff thoroughly enjoyed seeing the range of books on display! Well done to everybody who took part, and keep up the wonderful reading!
