In Year 6 this week, the children reflected on the powerful words of Martin Luther King. They watched videos of the famous speech ‘I have a dream’ and we discussed what type of person he was and how he fought for equality and justice. In groups, the children collaboratively wrote their own ‘I have a dream’ inspired speeches which they will perform to the class next lesson.
