Literacy
We have been writing our own set of instruction for a magical potion.
Maths
The children have explored the final concepts of place value for this term: counting in 25’s and negative numbers. These are worth going over with your children at home, looking for practical examples to discuss them
Science
The children followed up their viscosity experiments and designed experiments to test other factors which change the rate of flow in a liquid such as temperature and dilution. Later during the term we will conduct some of these experiments the children have designed.
RE
We have write poems on the theme of trust.
Design
The children are looking at different bottles and how they are functional to design their own bottle for their potions. Later this term we will sculpt prototypes in salt sough and then in clay.
Please start practising your Christmas play lines. We will also send home words to the songs and the songs will be posted on the website y4 page to help learn them at home. 4G prioritise prayer service practise over the next two days.
