We hope you had a lovely half term! This week to celebrate black history month we will be learning about Martin Luther King and the children will be writing their own ‘I have a dream’ speech to say how they think our current world could be improved. In Maths we will be focusing on column addition and subtraction of 3 digit numbers. In R.E we will be beginning our topic of Mary, Mother of God by learning about how we are all chosen by God and thinking about how we can best use our talents to serve God. This week in spellings we will be looking at contractions. For homework, please help your child to learn the attached spellings. Please also focus on revising the 10,5,2 and 3 times tables with your child, learning them in that order. Please also make sure to read regularly with your child and sign their reading record, especially if they have completed a book for the 30 book challenge.
Thank you for your support!
