We will focus on the 4 times table this week.
Literacy/Topic: We have been learning about the story of Spartacus. The children will be using stock frame animation (computing) to plan and sequence a gladiator contest scene.
Maths: In place value, we have focused on counting in 1000’s, four digit numbers and partitioning 4 digit numbers.
PHSE: Through our work on Spartacus we will be looking and human rights and slavery in past human civilisations. This will begin to link to an upcoming unit of work on the Abolition Movement 19th century.
RE: Our study of the Biblical figures in scripture takes us on to learning the life of Moses and David.
Art: We will continue to complete our work on Mosaics.
After a busy week at Tolmers we look forward to a great couple of weeks learning in class before half term.
