Science:
The children this week have been making their own periscopes using a cereal box and mirrors. The children investigated how light travels, reflects and enters our eyes. They really enjoyed the task and will be using this knowledge when they learn about how light refracts in our next Science lesson.
English:
The children reflected on the writing they have done relating to our class novel ‘Holes’. They chose the paragraphs they were most proud of and wrote their work up into templates relating to the text. The children have loved seeing their work displayed in templates of shovels, lizards, soda cans, cacti and Stanley (main character).
