4Q Mass

Thank you to Father James for coming to celebrate Mass with Class 4Q on Tuesday. The theme of the mass was  Saint George. He is thought to have been born into a noble Christian family in the late third century in an area which is now in Turkey.  In 303, he was  tortured and executed in Palestine,  for his beliefs,  becoming an early Christian martyr. During Mass we thought about the courage and bravery shown by Saint George and how we can serve one another too.

Father James also spoke to the children about the beautiful Gospel reading- “ I am the vine, you are the branches”.

The children read clearly and with confidence and sang beautifully. I t was wonderful to welcome so many parents to this very special gathering.
