The KS2 children and staff visited one of our parishes on Ash Wednesday. Thank you to Father John and Father James for your warm welcome.
The children were a true credit to the whole school community. Many parishioners approached the teaching staff to say how reverent the children were throughout the service. Thank you to the many parents who accompanied us to from either St Peter’s or St Gregory’s.
Father John and Father James then visiting the EYFS and KS1 children in the afternoon. As a school community we have begun our journey through Lent. May we show our love for Jesus through our words and actions. The children have taken home their Lenten box from the Catholic Children Society and each night a member of each class will bring home the Travelling Lenten pack to share with their family.
